A player with the skill set of Lee would without a doubt be the Falcons’ starting OLB opposite of what will likely be Brooks Reed. Atlanta brought back fan-favorite Sean Weatherspoon but mainly as a situational role player rather than a 3-down starter.

Lee fit’s Quinn’s defensive scheme beautifully. He’s lightning fast and has proven that he can be a force on the football field. Learning from guys like Weatherspoon would help him become the next superstar in Atlanta but there is one huge question mark looming around Lee. That question is whether or not he will be available when the Falcons are on the clock. Everyone’s mock drafts have Lee going all over the place so it’s really hard to tell at this point. Let’s hope he is, though.

Darron Lee

OLB, Ohio State

Outside linebacker Darron Lee has become a hot commodity as of late and it’s a pretty safe bet to say that he will be very high on the Atlanta Falcons’ draft board. While free agency isn’t quite finished, it’s looking like the OLB position for the Falcons will still be a very big need heading into the draft.

The Falcons have added two pass rushers and one OLB but starting jobs are still up for grabs.

Who do you guys think the Falcons will take at pick 17? Or do you think they should trade down and pick up a couple extra draft picks?
