We got a taste of just how the Atlanta Falcons can be when they have an effective running game and that should be even better heading into 2016. Matt Ryan handed it off to pro bowl running back Devonta Freeman and watched him dazzle play after play. When the Falcons got things going they were able to find wide open receivers down field on play action plays and that should be something you see quite a bit of next season.

Having a receiver like Sanu who can be very effective in running the ball and catching screens should add another level to the Falcons’ offense. The same goes for Julio Jones. Having two big receivers who can both make plays in the open field is very dangerous and adding Freeman in the passing game as well will be scary good.

This is shaping up to be very explosive yet laid back offense. Ryan should be able to sit back in the pocket and pick apart defenses on more plays than not. It should be very fun to watch.
