Matt Ryan is entering into year two under offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan which is good in so many ways. The first year under a new system is never going to be a the best. It takes time to figure out the logistics and by the time you finally do, the season is over.

Ryan now has a full season under his belt in Shanahan’s system and will have pretty much the same weapons to throw the ball to besides Mohamed Sanu. He will have an all-pro receiver in Julio Jones, a pro bowl running back in Devonta Freeman and a very reliable tight end in Jacob Tamme. He will also get to work with Sanu and have second-year receiver Justin Hardy more involved in the offense.

This is shaping up to be a very solid offense for the Falcons. Whether or not the Falcons are successful in 2015 won’t come down to how the offense plays, but the defense. The offense will be very good.
