9) Patrick DiMarco – FB

It’s rather amazing what one season can do for an NFL player. Fullback Patrick DiMarco wen’t from possibly not even making the roster out of training camp last season to making it to the pro bowl as one of the league’s best lead blockers.

DiMarco’s journey started with the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2011 and then signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2012. After playing in five games for the Chiefs, DiMarco was cut and picked up by the Falcons in 2013 and the rest is history.

DiMarco made the roster and has been the Falcons’ starting fullback ever since. He has one job with the Falcons and that is to block. He rushed the ball one time for zero yards in 2015 and made a pro bowl. That just goes to show you how good he is at what he does. DiMarco however did catch two touchdown passes in the same game against the Indianapolis Colts but that was as shocking to us as it probably was to him.

DiMarco deserves a spot on the top 10 Atlanta Falcons list for his never quit attitude and hard work he has put into his craft. the Falcons are lucky to have a player who does all the dirty work. Luckily for him, the NFL noticed that and put him in the pro bowl. Let’s hope he can pick back up where he left off for the upcoming season.
