7) Vic Beasley – DE

Pretty much everyone knew who the Atlanta Falcons were going to draft last year and they were right. The Falcons took Georgia native and Clemson star pass rusher Vic Beasley with the eighth overall pick in hopes of him being the next big thing.

Beasley went through some rough patches as do all rookies in the NFL but when everything was said and done, he finished up his rookie campaign as one of the best rated pass rushers in the league according to pro football focus.

Beasley finished with a team-high four sacks, two forced fumbles and one interception in 16 games played. And all of this was before he reported as seasons end that he played through a torn labrum for the entire duration of the season.

Beasley still has a lot to learn before he becomes a top-tier defensive end in the NFL but he’s well on his way. And for that he deserves a spot on the list. His potential alone is enough to ink his name as the seventh-best player on the roster and will hopefully climb his way into the top five after 2016.
