Rounds 2-3 options

If the Falcons turn to the pass rush on day one, there are options at linebacker in the second and third rounds. The best fit is a similar player to Darron Lee.

The best fit: Deion Jones, LSU

Deion Jones has blazing speed and good coverage skills. Jones can hang with pass-catchers in the middle of the field and can make plays on the football, whether a pass defense or interception.

Jones would be an ideal second day two selection for the Falcons, and would be a perfect followup to an edge rusher in the first-round.

Alternative target: Dominique Alexander, Oklahoma

Dominique Alexander has good agility, athleticism and speed which bodes well for his ability to drop into coverage. He can be used to cover slot receivers, tight ends and running backs and has good recognition of routes.

Alexander will likely fall in either the second or third round depending on who you ask. If the Falcons miss out on Jones earlier in the round, Alexander would be a good backup option so long as they went pass rusher in the first-round.

Other options: Kentrell Brothers, Tyler Matakevich, Nick Vigil
