Sixth Round – *From Pittsburgh* – Pick 220 – Sean Davis – CB
Dan Quinn has always been known to recruit big tall cornerbacks and Maryland’s Sean Davis is just that. He’s a 6-foot-1 corner that weighed in at 205 pounds and is used to making plays. He racked up an eye-popping 313 tackles in just 50 career games. Davis is a player who can play both safety and corner which gives him even more upside.
This isn’t a big need for the Falcons. They already have a pretty darn good group of corners but why pass on a guy with Davis’ skills? Sixth round picks are by no means guaranteed to succeed in the NFL so drafting him wouldn’t be considered a waste. I would love this pick. Make it happen, Falcons.
