Seventh Round – Pick 238 – David Grinnage – TE

The Atlanta Falcons need to start looking at tight end prospects and while it’s not a pressing need for 2016, drafting one wouldn’t be a bad idea. NC State’s David Grinnage has NFL size at 6-foot-5, 265 pounds and could compete with Levine Toilolo for the Falcons’ second-string TE spot.

Grinnage caught 25 passes for 290 yards and three touchdowns in 2015 as a Junior and had seven catches for 82 yards and a touchdown against the Clemson Tigers. Grinnage ran a respectable 4.7 40-yard dash which was one of the top in the TE class at the combine. Why not take him in the seventh?
