4) Jeremy Cash

Jeremy Cash is a player that has been overly quite as we sneak up on the draft and that’s not a good thing. However, the 6-foot, 212-pound safety is a big physical player that could potentially be on the Atlanta Falcons’ radar in the second round.

Cash is a safety that needs to play in the box and Dan Quinn loves to do that. He’s excellent against the run and has amazing closing speed to go along with it. What he won’t do for your team is excel in coverage. He plays stiff and quick change of direction makes him struggle even more.

He is a box safety without a doubt. And when you play him in the box, he plays a lot more like a weak side linebacker than he does a strong safety. He’s going to be your hybrid physical player that comes up and hits the living daylights out of someone with the ball. And if you are fine with that, Cash is your guy.
