What kind of role can the fans expect from you in the offense?

Sanu: I’m just really excited to bring my talent to a very talented team already. Just to add on and help them get to where wanna go. And Ima just make sure I do all the little things right and hold myself accountable so I can help mout team wins and let the chips fall where they may.

There really isn’t anything Sanu can’t do. He can line up pretty much anywhere you want him to whether that be on the outside or in the slot. Heck, he can even lineup at running back and take some handoffs. Sanu played in a triple-option offense in high school and did a little bit of everything while playing at Rutgers in college. And while his main role with the Bengals was to catch passes, he made some big plays in other roles.

Sanu has five career passes under his belt and he has competed all five of them. His five completions have translated to 177 passing yards and two touchdowns. You also may remember Sanu completing a pass on the Falcons’ defense back in the 2014 regular season.

Sanu can also run the ball very well. He did not catch a receiving touchdown in 2015, but what he did do was score two touchdowns on the ground to go with a career-high 71 yards on 10 attempts.

To call Sanu as versatile player is an understatement. He isn’t going to blow the top off of a defense unless he breaks a tackle or two, but what he will do is move the chains and at the end of the day, that’s all you really need from your No. 2 guy. Sanu has 92 first downs in 152 career receptions. That’s pretty darn impressive.
