It’s Atlanta Falcons mock draft time!

The NFL draft cannot come soon enough. the Atlanta Falcons are starting to bring in different prospects down to their facilities to private workouts and that couldn’t be more exciting.

A lot of good players have been linked to the Falcons and that’s good news because they are in dire need of a few of them. The Falcons have several positions that they will try to key on in this years’ draft and those include weak side linebacker, strong safety, defensive end and offensive guard. You could also see them go after a tight end or a wide receiver in this draft as well.

The Falcons are not in a win now mode, but they will be searching for players who can come right in and have a big role with the team. They will need to find at least two full-time starters in this draft and that’s easier said than done.

Fortunately for the Falcons, there are several great players at each position and the possibility of finding multiple starters is pretty good.

There is also a really good possibility that the Falcons trade down at some point in this draft. It will likely come in either the first or second rounds and that has to do with the fact that they have the fewest draft picks out of all 32 teams. Five picks is all they currently hold so they will need to pick up at least one or two extra picks at some point in time.

There is almost a zero percent chance that they Falcons stay chalk and draft just five times in the order that they are currently in. Five picks just isn’t very realistic.

Let’s dive on into this updated Atlanta Falcons mock draft.
