Good morning, Falcons fans. We now know the 2016 regular season schedule, and it’s tough. How about back-to-back games on the road to Denver and Seattle? Yikes. Maybe we took the easiest strength of schedule the Falcons had a year ago for granted. Those days are gone.

Never fear, for Dan Quinn’s team will go on and will believe they can go one better on last season and compete for a playoff berth. We shall see. For now, enjoy these Atlanta Falcons articles with your fine Friday morning coffee.

Falcons get their request: Denver and Seattle back to back — Vaughn McClure of ESPN

Dan Quinn got his wish to play back-to-back road games in the West. In Weeks 5 and 6, the Falcons will travel to Denver and Seattle respectively. This may sound like a daunting schedule for fans, but for Quinn it’s an opportunity to bond with his team and make the tough travel schedule that bit easier to take.

Alabama linebacker Reggie Ragland to visit with Falcons — Vaughn McClure of ESPN

Strengthening the defense is a must with the No. 17 pick, and it could be inside linebacker Reggie Ragland. He takes on blocks and is always around the football. Ragland would help shore up the middle of the Falcons’ defense, although his coverage skills are somewhat limited.

Thomas Dimitroff’s Draft Success by Round: Matt Bosher saves the sixth — Dave Choate of The Falcoholic

Looking back over Thomas Dimitroff’s history in the sixth round isn’t particularly fun reading. Outside of punter Matt Bosher, there isn’t a whole to get excited about. How about names like Charles Mitchell, Shann Schillinger and Spencer Adkins? At least he hit on Bosher.
