1) Kamalei Correa, OLB Boise State

One of the most underrated players in the 2016 NFL draft is Boise State outside linebacker Kamalei Correa. If the Atlanta Falcons do in fact trade down (which they should) then a guy like Correa could very well be the pick. He’s a perfect scheme fit in Dan Quinn’s defense and would fill the huge void at weak side linebacker for the Falcons.

According to Tony Pauline, the Falcons had their entire front office on hand at Boise State’s pro day to watch Correa and safety Darian Thompson. There’s very little chance that Correa goes anywhere in the draft before pick 25 so for the Falcons to have everyone on hand to watch a player that is a late first-round projection should speak volumes.

If Shaq Lawson, Reggie Ragland and Darron Thompson are all gone when the Falcons are on the clock at pick 17, the should trade down and draft Correa. It makes all the sense in the world.
