Good morning, Falcons fans. We are nine days away from the 2016 NFL Draft. Nine. Days. We will finally find out Dan Quinn and Thomas Dimitroff’s plan for the future of the franchise. Will they use their current five picks or look to trade down (or up)? The decisions made next week in Chicago will have a domino effect on the short-term future of the Atlanta Falcons, and that’s what makes it so fun.

As you sip your coffee this fine Tuesday morning, enjoy these articles from the Falcons’ blogosphere.

Arthur Blank expects three starters out of Falcons’ five draft picks — Vaughn McClure of ESPN

It’s tough to add quality depth to a roster with just five draft picks, but Falcons owner Arthur Blank believes they will land three starters from their five selections. 2016 Draft Needs: Falcons Interior Offensive Line Still Needs More Help — Aaron Freeman of FalcFans.com

It may not be the biggest need on the roster, but the Falcons would benefit from an upgrade to the interior of the offensive line. Center Alex Mack will help fix the need at the heart of the line, but the right guard spot could still do with an upgrade. Opening more run lanes and protecting Matt Ryan from interior rushers is important moving forward.

Atlanta Falcons could debut special new uniforms in 2016 — Brian Jones of 247Sports.com

Every NFL team will play in a “Color Rush” uniform this season on Thursday Night Football, and it sounds as though the Falcons will be in all-red as opposed to all-black. Personally, I’m happy with this. The whole point is for the teams to be colorful, and black doesn’t exactly fit the bill. The Falcons’ Thursday night game is against Tampa Bay, perhaps suggesting the Buccaneers will wear a pewter jersey as opposed to the red they wore last season.
