5) Tevin Coleman – RB

Tevin Coleman is entering into his second season in the NFL and is hoping to take the next step in what will be a backup role to breakout star Devonta Freeman. Coleman lost his starting job to Freeman after going down with injury in week 2 and never had an opportunity to gain it back. Freeman was arguably the best running back in the NFL in the middle part of the season, so once Coleman returned to action, it was in a much smaller role.

Just because Coleman isn’t the No. 1 guy in Atlanta doesn’t mean he won’t impact the team in a big way in 2016. Freeman is still a smaller running back and doesn’t need to be used 300 times a year. And because of that, Coleman will get a decent amount of reps. Coleman’s biggest knock as a rookie was his ball security. Coleman had a bad case of butter fingers and will need to improve on that heading into year two.

If Coleman can learn how to hold on to the football, he will compliment Freeman wonderfully and could become one of the best second-string running backs in the NFL.
