Good morning, Falcons fans. As you may have heard, the Atlanta Falcons received some pretty big news yesterday. Their brand new home, the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, set to open in time for the 2017 season, will play host to the Super Bowl in 2019.

The NFL continues its recent tradition of awarding Super Bowls to newly constructed stadiums, as it did for Levi’s Stadium (Super Bowl 50) and U.S. Bank Stadium (Super Bowl LII).

We now know the host cities for the next five Super Bowls. We already knew Houston will host next year’s big game, and the Minnesota’s new U.S. Bank Stadium will hold the 2018 event. Next in line is the Falcons’ stunning new home, followed by the New Miami Stadium in 2020 and the Los Angeles Rams’ new stadium in 2021.

With Adrian Clayborn and Grady Jarrett sidelined with injuries, the Falcons’ revamped pass rush wasn’t at full strength for the start of OTAs.
