What must the Atlanta Falcons do to make the playoffs this season?

As we move closer to the 2016 season, optimism surrounds each NFL team. Whether it is the Super Bowl winning Broncos or the less than stellar Browns team, everyone has a fresh mindset and hope that this is the season they will win it all. For Atlanta Falcons fans, that hope is a little higher then in seasons past.

Dan Quinn guided the team to a much improved season and has quickly retooled the team on both sides of the ball. While there was a disappointing lull after an exciting start no doubt there was a marked change and improvement.

The offseason continued to address this bringing in several key free agents. The biggest addition may have been on the offensive line with the addition of Alex Mack. He will offer leadership on an offensive line that is in much need of that. As well as being one of the best centers in the NFL.  The draft focused primarily on shoring up an unimpressive 2015 defense.

With the new additions here are the four things the Falcons have to do in 2016 to be playoff contenders.
