3) The pass rush still needs a lot of work

The Falcons finished with three sacks, all from players that will not make the 53-man roster. Ivan Mclennan and Cory Johnson each had a sack to go along with .5 sacks from Brandon Williams and Nordly Capi.

Beasley really struggled to start the game but finished on a somewhat high note. He was only able to get a free release on the quarterback one time on a stunt and forced an incompletion, but failed to make it around the edge. He also appeared to get injured but seems to be fine heading into next week.

With Dwight Freeney still being eased into the lineup, the pass rush looks lost. This comes as no surprise, but is still disappointing to watch. Let’s hope they get it together in the next three preseason games before the start of the regular season.
