The Atlanta Falcons will embark on their 2016 season in a matter of days. The season opener is also the home opener as they welcome quarterback Jameis Winston and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tampa Bay is a young team that has its fair share of prime talent with Winston, receiver Mike Evans, one of the best defensive tackles in the game Gerald McCoy, and two up-and-coming linebackers in Lavonte David and Kwon Alexander.

Additionally, it is also game one of Dirk Koetter’s era as head coach in Tampa Bay. Koetter, the former Falcons offensive coordinator, also has  brought former head coach Mike Smith on his staff as the defensive coordinator. Two former coaches for the Falcons are now on a team that has several key pieces. This presents an interesting matchup to open up the 2016 season. Here is the to-do checklist for the Falcons that will lead to a 1-0 start for Atlanta.
