4. Play Calling

For the second week in a row the Falcons have surpassed 45 points. Every single game this season, Matt Ryan has connected with 8 different receivers. With a multitude of weapons and a nasty offensive line, Atlanta has been rolling on offense. The main reason is due to the expert play-calling from offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan.

A big reason why the Falcons seemed so unstoppable on offense vs Carolina was due to the great calls by Shanahan. Time after time, the offense would attack the secondary deep and it would result in large gains. The Panthers were obviously out of sync today, thanks to that strategy of going deep. It also helps when you have one of the best QB-WR duos in the NFL at your disposal.

After dealing with doubters all offseason, Kyle Shanahan is quieting the critics. The Falcons sit on top of all the major offensive categories through 4 weeks.
