Atlanta Falcons: 2017 NFL Draft Review
Round 5, Pick 5 (149th overall) – Damontae Kazee (CB, SDSU)
Recent defensive backs drafted by the Falcons have proven successful, with Desmond Trufant becoming a top corner in the league, and players like Keanu Neal, Robert Alford, and Jalen Collins proving to be solid starters and contributors with high ceilings.
Damontae Kazee can hopefully continue the trend, as he was a huge ballhawk in college. In fact, his size and ability to go after the football may land him at FS in the near future, being as a potential replacement to Ricardo Allen.
