Round 5, Pick 12 (156th overall) – Brian Hill (RB, Wyoming)

The Falcons have an amazing duo of running backs in Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman, but a third back to help in pass protection would be a nice addition. Brian Hill, while being selected to fill this role and add depth, was also a strong runner in his time at Wyoming and has impressive athleticism and NFL size to make for a bright future.

Hill obviously won’t be stealing much time from Freeman or Coleman in 2017, but should be an improvement over third string running back Terron Ward and could develop into a solid option to replace Freeman or Coleman in the future.
