The Atlanta Falcons aren’t entirely done shaping up their 2017 roster, but it’s likely that majority of the players on the current roster are in the franchise’s plans for the future.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be posting brief positional breakdowns for each position on the Falcons’ roster and make a quick statistical prediction of how they’ll play out throughout the 2017 season. This isn’t just to see where the known players like Julio Jones, Matt Ryan, and Vic Beasley stand within the organization, but also for those who may fly under the radar especially for those who were brought in through day three of the draft and for those who didn’t even get drafted.

During the 2016 season, the Atlanta Falcons were one of the most high-powered offenses in the NFL that lit up scoreboard and became headache to defend even for the league’s best defensive teams. Though Atlanta failed to bring the Lombardi trophy back to the Dirty South, the Falcons did get to experience one of the best seasonal performances by a quarterback in years that ended with an MVP award for veteran quarterback Matt Ryan.

Now reloaded with more talent on both sides of the ball and new faces at the coaching positions it seems that the Falcons are gearing to prepare the Brotherhood for one more ride towards the Super Bowl in January. Still before we begin to dream of another run at the Super Bowl let’s look over the position that help led the Falcons to greatness in 2016.
