Let’s face it, the off-season is boring.

The exciting period of free agency where the Falcons landed Dontari Poe has passed. The NFL Draft filled with interesting trades and the captivating Takkarist McKinley has also passed. Now, football fans can only read about OTAs and eagerly anticipate Training Camp and the NFL preseason.

However, it’s always fun to make predictions and speculate about the coming season. Which players will prove their critics wrong? Which players will unexpectedly take a step back?

Let’s take a look at three of my hot takes for the Atlanta Falcons for the 2017 NFL season.

Note: While all of these “takes” are possible and could hypothetically occur, they are simply ground in my opinion, not factual analysis. Don’t take them too seriously.
