The Atlanta Falcons have several fun postseason memories. What are the top five Falcons playoff games of all time?

#5: 2012 NFC Divisional

This game was the monkey on Matt Ryan’s back. After three first round postseason losses, it was time for the Falcons quarterback to prove himself. However, he’d have to beat the young and impressive Seattle Seahawks to do so.

Atlanta struck out to an impressive 20 – 0 lead in the first half, but the Seahawks would not go quietly. After a great effort by Russell Wilson and the Seattle offense, the Falcons were down by one with just 30 seconds left. But, Ryan lived up to his “Matty Ice” nickname and calmly led the Falcons down the field to the Seahawks 31 yard line.

Atlanta’s fate then laid in the hands of kicker Matt Bryant, who drilled a 49 yard field goal with 13 seconds remaining.

It was a thrilling victory, and one that proved to the league that Matt Ryan could indeed win in the playoffs.
