An early look at the 2018 Draft

Defensive Tackle: Christian Wilkins
The top Defensive lineman on Matt Millers board right now, is Christian Wilkins, defensive tackle from Clemson. Clemson has been very generous to the NFL pushing out a ton of Defensive Line talent, as the Falcons have two of their recent best players – Vic Beasley and Grady Jarrett. Christian Wilkins is no different. He’s a 6’4 310 pound mammoth. I think his ranking by Miller is based on the assumption that he’ll break out in the 2017 season, because PFF’s guide has him as a day 2 prospect. Nonetheless, his 2016 season was pretty nice. 30 Hurries, 13 TFL, and his size have to be remembered.
Defensive Tackle: Da’Shawn Hand
The next Defensive Lineman is Da’Shawn Hand, defensive tackle, from Alabama. Stat wise, he’s pretty limited, this is easily based off his potential and being at such a historic program. He’s 6’4 and 280, so the size is there. His production though, like I said, pretty limited.
