Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn recently spoke very highly of the way wide receiver Mohamed Sanu is performing in his second camp with the team

He was a pretty significant signing before the 2016 signing, and didn’t let the Atlanta Falcons down one bit on the field. Former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Mohamed Sanu came over to be the number two option beside Julio Jones, and registered 59 receptions for 653 yards and four touchdowns foe the Dirty Birds. Now, he’s apparently ready to do even more if his work at camp is any indication.

Sanu has been a star at Flowery Branch so far, and head coach Dan Quinn had no problem saying so. After one of their recent practices he took some time to discuss the state of the team and said Sanu is having a “hell of a camp.

"“To me, Sanu is one who set it off in the spring,” Quinn said via Will McFadden of the Atlanta Falcons team page. “He came back so fit for the OTAs in the spring, you could really see his intent was right and that really carried over into the summer. I singled him out this morning, as well. I thought that he’s off to having a hell of a camp.”"

The veteran receiver has been a great addition not only for his contributions on the field, but his energy as well. Teammates have praised his effort and positive attitude and Sanu has been great with the fans as well. His positive attitude and great work ethic were even fully on display when he received an anonymous thank you letter from a fan who said their young child watched him spend the entire flight working to learn his playbook.

Now in his second season with the team, look for Sanu to get even more involved in the offense. He’s the kind of guy who can be trusted to carry this productive camp time into the regular season.
