With training camp underway here are three veteran players that could find themselves on the wrong side of the roster bubble for the Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons have been said to have one of the most talented rosters in the entire NFL. They feature the 2016 NFL MVP at quarterback in Matt Ryan and of course one of the best wide outs in Julio Jones.

Outside of them there are other stars like running backs Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman as well as 2016 NFL sack leader Vic Beasley, Jr. at the edge. That’s only naming a few, but the fact is this team doesn’t have a lot of room for bubble players to make the roster. Here we look at three veterans who could find themselves without a job as the regular season approaches.

3. Jalen Collins, CB

He was a second round pick in 2015 and had 31 tackles and two picks for Atlanta in 2016. The problem is he now finds himself in a somewhat crowded position and has recently been demoted to the third string by the coaching staff according to D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitutional.

He also upset the team last season when he was suspended four games to start the year after being found in violation of the league’s substance abuse policy.

With the emergence of fifth-round pick Damontae Kazee, the return to health of Desmond Trufant and the solid play of less expensive options like C.J. Goodwin, Collins could be on his way out after just two short seasons with the Dirty Birds.
