4. How will Takk McKinley follow up his debut performance

Takk McKinley made his much anticipated debut last Sunday in Pittsburgh. In an attempt to ease him back into football action, the coaching staff limited McKinley to 10 snaps.

But boy did he make the most of them. The Falcons first round pick displayed his full arsenal of weapons (first step quickness, motor, and power) against a respectable opponent in left tackle Alejandro Villanueva.

Takk finished the day with one QB hit and two hurries, but more importantly, left the fans wanting more.

So that begs the question, what does McKinley have in store for an encore? Well for one, we should expect at least a slight uptick in his time spent on the field.

That should make Falcons fans very happy and Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer a little skittish going into Saturday. After all, he’s not exactly playing behind the greatest of offensive lines.

My prediction: Takk McKinley records his first professional sack this weekend.
