After defeating the Chicago Bears in Week 1 here are three members of the Atlanta Falcons who are seeing their stock drop

It was a hard fought game for the Atlanta Falcons in Week 1, when not too many people thought it would be. After going 11-5 last season, the defending NFC Champions should have easily handled the Chicago Bears — a team that conversely went 3-13.

Instead this one came down to the wire and the Falcons had to get a couple lucky breaks to make sure that they escaped with a 23-17 victory.

While there was plenty of positive vibes to go around, there were some players that saw their stock drop some in the opening day win. Here we will look three guys who did just that in the opening weekend win.

There was talk in the offseason that wide receiver Justin Hardy was going to be special after breaking out with four touchdowns last season. Heading in his third season with the Falcons Hardy was talked up by offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian and then did nothing in Week 1.

He wasn’t targeted in the passing game and wasn’t used as a returner either for the team now that Andre Roberts is in town. He may still become a part of the offense, but as it stands right now he was nothing more than an afterthought.
