Our staff writers give their gut feelings and score predictions for their Week 4 game between the Atlanta Falcons and Buffalo Bills

The Atlanta Falcons are one of just two teams still with a perfect record after three weeks of action in the 2017 NFL season. They have won two on the road and one at home against NFC South opponents, but finally play someone from outside of that division in Week 4.

Returning home to the lovely Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the Falcons will host an AFC East representative when the Buffalo Bills come to town. Buffalo is a smash-mouth style defense that’s fresh off a big win against the Denver Broncos who came in to their stadium with a record of 2-0 last week, but left with a shocking defeat.

Can the Falcons continue their hot start to the season? Or will the Bills upset another team with a perfect record early on?

Our staff writers share their feelings and give their predictions for the Falcons and Bills Week 4 meeting in Atlanta.

Writer: Cameron Marino

Game: Buffalo Bills (2-1) vs. Atlanta Falcons (3-0)

Breakdown: The Falcons are coming off a nail biter exhibition, but the win should hype up the team for this Sunday. LeSean McCoy and Tyrod Taylor have looked stellar the first 3 weeks, but Tyrod doesn’t have many passing threats to the left and right.

That’s when the line and linebackers need to step up. With Vic being out, they’ll especially have to step up. The Falcons are coming of a very poor defensive showing against the Lions, so they’ll definitely use the running game very frequently.

As for the Falcons offense, Matt Ryan is coming off also, a very poor outing, throwing 3 careless interceptions after throwing 7 total in the ‘16 season. Julio is yet to have a touchdown and he also has a back injury. Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman have looked spectacular. Not only do fans realize the ridiculousness that Julio hasn’t scored yet, I’m positive Sark does too. Julio will be given the ball way more in the next coming weeks. The Falcons tend to start off very hot and then cool down the second half. That’ll change. I think this game will be close.

Prediction: Bills 22, Falcons 26
