The biggest match ups for the Atlanta Falcons as they take on the Miami Dolphins in Week 6 action of the 2017 NFL Season.

With the Atlanta Falcons ready to play the Miami Dolphins in Week 6, here’s a look at each key matchup that can help determine the outcome of their first game off their Week 5 bye.

Alex Mack (No. 1 Graded Center) vs. Ndamukong Suh (No. 4 Interior Defender)

This matchup should be very exciting. Two big, elite athletes up against each other. Atlanta Falcons starting center Alex Mack comes into the matchup listed as 6-foot-4 and 311-pounds. On the other side of the ball, Ndamukong Suh clocks in at 6-foot-4 and 307-pounds. The size comparison is uncanny. It’ll also determine some of the running game; the amount of gaps being opened for running backs Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman.

Falcons Linebackers vs. Jay Ajayi

This season, Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi has been pretty weak, but he still is capable of putting up great numbers. The Falcons have arguably the best linebackers in the league, so it should be fun to see the elite linebackers up against a very talented back.

Julio Jones vs. Dolphins Secondary

Some few players on the Dolphins secondary are questionable with injuries, so Julio Jones will definitely take advantage of not only that, but also the extra targets with fellow wide receiver Mohamed Sanu being out. Cornerback Xavien Howard will most likely play with a shoulder injury, and Byron Maxwell will play limited snaps. In 2015, when the Falcons met the Eagles and Byron Maxwell (a member of their team at the time), Jones notched 9 catches for 141 yards and 2 touchdowns. I’m ready for Jones to eat, are you?
