Game: Atlanta Falcons (3-2) at New England Patriots (4-2)

Breakdown: It will be the second time the Atlanta Falcons appear on Sunday Night Football this season. Their first appearance came in Week 2 when they opened Mercedes-Benz Stadium in style by defeating the Green Bay Packers. That one was a repeat of the NFC Championship game, and as fate would have it, their next trip to SNF is a Super Bowl Rematch.

Sadly, all we will hear about is the Falcons 25-point blown lead. NBC commentator Cris Colinsworth has mentioned it at every opportunity and has been almost as annoying with it as he is when mentioning the name Odell Beckham, Jr. 150-times per Giants game — even when OBJ isn’t playing.

The only way to really shut that up though is to win. That’s going to be a tough task because right now, the Falcons aren’t playing good. Their defense can’t tackle and quarterback Matt Ryan suddenly became interception prone.

One thing helping Atlanta is the Patriots defense has it’s own issues. They struggle in coverage, which means this could be a shootout. It’s hard to pick Matty Ice in such a game right now though, especially when the opponent is Tom Brady. This one may not be fun to watch.

Prediction: New England 34, Atlanta 23
