1. Steve Sarkisian, OC

Ryan’s accuracy isn’t the only ongoing issue this season for the Atlanta Falcons, the play calling has been as well. While many were happy to see Kyle Shanahan leave to take the head coaching job in San Francisco, they may have been too hasty to shrug off his contributions as the offensive coordinator.

Sure, Shanahan botched the Super Bowl with his play calling — there’s no denying that. However, that doesn’t mean he was bad all the time, and in fact he was actually really good for this team. What hasn’t been good is his replacement, Steve Sarkisian.

The long-time college coach has struggled to find any sort of balance with his calls and far too often leaves us all scratching our heads wondering what just happened. It feels like as soon as Devonta Freeman gets going, they dial up a pass. Once they get in the red zone, they forget Julio Jones exists, and then there was the fourth-down reverse run with their smallest receiver Taylor Gabriel last night that baffled the football watching world.

Sark hasn’t been a fan favorite, but he’s not doing much to endear himself to them. He had some big shoes to fill, and it may take time to get things figured out. At this moment in time, it feels as if he’s in over his head.
