1. Mohamed Sanu, WR

Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, wide receiver Mohamed Sanu got to play in his home state for the first time since his collegiate days at Rutgers, and he was obviously loving it. Sanu was a big reason the Dirty Birds got the win, and he had the go-ahead touchdown grab late.

With Atlanta trailing 17-16, quarterback Matt Ryan bought time with his legs and fired a rocket to the back of the end zone. Sanu extended fully and the hometown kid put his team up for good by coming down with it.

It was great to see as Sanu has been dealing with a hamstring injury, and in just his second game back, he made arguably the biggest play in the game. The No. 2 wide out ended the contest with six receptions for 74 yards and that score.

It was also the second game in a row that Sanu finished with six grabs as the former Cincinnati Bengal had six catches for 65 yards against New England.

Moving forward, he will be a huge part of the team’s plans. Sanu has been a great addition to the Falcons ever since they lured him away from Cincy before the 2016 season. He’s been a positive presence off the field as well and is a great role model in addition to being a dynamic receiver.
