Falcons’ RB Devonta Freeman and CB Desmond Trufant will participate in the team’s full practice on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, Atlanta Falcons’ running back Devonta Freeman and cornerback Desmond Trufant were limited in participation in practice but now the two are ready to go for full contact Thursday, per head coach Dan Quinn.

Freeman has been dealing with a shoulder injury for two weeks now but that did not stop him from playing in Atlanta’s games against the New York Jets and Carolina Panthers.

Trufant sustained his ankle injury in practice on Wednesday but it won’t affect him moving forward. Expect Freeman and Trufant to be ready to go for the Falcons’ crucial Week 10 matchup vs the Dallas Cowboys. Coach Quinn also said in his press conference today that he didn’t know if wide receiver Julio Jones would participate. He did engage in walkthroughs, though. Jones is still battling a leg injury sustained in the Falcons Week 9 loss to the Panthers and is expected to play on Sunday.

Other notable injuries are defensive tackle Grady Jarrett‘s rib injury and Takkarist McKinley‘s shoulder. The two were limited in practice on Wednesday but Quinn did not provide an update this afternoon. Kicker Matt Bryant‘s right calf and linebacker Duke Riley‘s knee will keep them out of practice today.

Next: Christmas comes early for Falcons, there will be no Zeke

Speaking of corner, the Falcons could soon get more depth back at cornerback as Jalen Collins is two games from completing his 10-game suspension. Atlanta has yet to make a decision on him, per the AJC’s D. Orlando Ledbetter. If Collins were to get back in the Falcons’ secondary, this would eliminate all thought of the team possibly signing cornerback Byron Maxwell after a workout a few days ago.
