Atlanta Falcons’ running back Devonta Freeman was back at practice on Thursday and wide receiver Julio Jones was limited with an ankle/knee injury.

Atlanta Falcons’ Running back Devonta Freeman is still in the concussion protocol, but was back at practice on Thursday, per ESPN.com’s Vaughn McClure. The team’s star running back wore the all-black no contact attire during drills.

Freeman has missed the past two games after he suffered a concussion during Atlanta’s 27-7 win over the Dallas Cowboys two weeks ago at home. The Falcons have had no trouble during his absence as they received a huge 34-31 victory on Monday vs the Seahawks in Seattle.

Backup runner Tevin Coleman continues to serve as a solid contributor in Freeman’s absence as he scored in both games that Freeman missed.

Wide receiver Julio Jones is limited in practice by an ankle and knee injury. According to ESPN’s Vaughn McClure, this changed from Jones’ injury status of only being hindered by an ankle injury last week. Jones has been playing through injuries all season but had no trouble in the win at Seattle as he totaled five receptions for 71 yards.

Punter Matt Bosher has been dealing with an ankle injury that prompted the Falcons to work out  free agent punter Matt Wile. The team has not signed him yet, but that could change very soon as a game time decision approaches regarding Bosher.
