The Atlanta Falcons face their toughest test yet as they host the Minnesota Vikings in Week 13. Our staff predicts their outcome in the big showdown.

A three-game winning streak is put to the test for the Atlanta Falcons as they host the Minnesota Vikings in Week 13. A win could go a long way towards not only helping them secure a Wild Card spot, but could give them the momentum they need to make a move for the divisional title — especially considering their remaining games are all NFC South contests.

But can they handle the talented Vikings who are as tough on defense as they are offense? That’s exactly what our staff writers will try and predict ahead of the big showdown in early December.

Writer: Ikaika Hall

Game: Minnesota Vikings (9-2) at Atlanta Falcons (7-3)

Breakdown: Biggest game of the season thus far for the Falcons. I want to believe that Atlanta wins, but I am not completely confident they can beat this very tough Minnesota Vikings team. Atlanta will lose this one at home and there will be those that question the Falcons legitimacy as a playoff contender. But a loss on Sunday does not mean the Falcons are out of playoff contention, it does mean however that there will be zero room for failure moving forward. Sunday’s game will not be pretty…for Falcons fans.

Prediction: Atlanta 17, Minnesota 36
