Game: Minnesota Vikings (9-2) at Atlanta Falcons (7-3)

Breakdown: This is quite possibly the toughest game the Atlanta Falcons have left on their schedule. The Minnesota Vikings are a powerhouse, and they come in with a little extra rest following their Week 12 game on Thanksgiving day. They defeated the Detroit Lions in that one by seven. Don’t let that score fool you though, Minnesota controlled this one and Detroit needed a lot of help from some bad calls to make it close.

Atlanta also comes off a win that saw the opponent make a fiery comeback attempt. They wound up putting the Tampa Bay Bucs away for good though on a late Tevin Coleman run. Currently on a three-game winning streak, they hope to keep it going while also cooling off a team on a seven-game winning streak.

Minnesota boasts the better defense, but their offense isn’t a liability by any stretch. Atlanta struggles on defense, but their offense is firing on all cylinders. I’ve gone back and forth on this one a lot, but now seems like the perfect time to snap the Vikings win streak. Give me the home team in a close contest.

Prediction: Atlanta 31, Minnesota 28
