No. 4: The New Orleans Saints

Beating the New Orleans Saints will be a tough task for the Atlanta Falcons. The Saints are a talented squad led by future Hall of Famer Drew Brees.

The Saints are predicted to be one of the NFC’s elite squad, along with the Philadelphia Eagles, Los Angeles Rams, and the Atlanta Falcons.

Right now, the Saints and the Falcons are like two boxers sizing one another up as they get ready to pummel the opposition.

It would be easy for either fan base to declare their team to be the superior team. However, until these two teams play we won’t have the truth.

The Falcons need to beat the Saints. It is a critical first step this Atlanta team must make. If the Falcons cannot defeat their division rival, a team that will face off against the Falcons twice this year, then the Falcons will be at a huge disadvantage when they try and win the NFC South.

Beating the Saints is also imperative. Most people believe the Saints to be the third best team in the NFC (not counting the Falcons). If Atlanta is unable to beat the third best team in the conference, then that should give Falcons fans pause when this team’s road to the super bowl goes through Los Angeles or Philadelphia.
