Riley Ridley!!!!!

The Atlanta Falcons have a unique opportunity to solidify the Brotherhood in this year. Riley Ridley has declared for the NFL draft

Atlanta drafted Calvin Ridley in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft and a had a tremendous season for the Falcons in his rookie season with 821 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns. The Falcons receiver is headed for years of success here in Atlanta.

Now Riley Ridley is ready to enter the NFL and from all indications Riley is just as good as his brother Calvin.  Riley hauled in 44 receptions for 570 yards and 9 touchdowns on a “run” heavy Georgia Bulldogs squad.

He also had arguably a better game than Calvin in their only meeting in the 2017 National Title game.

Since Dan Quinn’s arrival in Atlanta he has preached the Brotherhood. What better way to solidify the entire organizational motto, than to have actual brothers on the team.

Looking closer at this scenario I can see how this is a ” no-brainer”. The positive nature of the competition between these two receivers could infect the entire team.

As we’ve seen throughout the history of Pro Football, Teams that believe in each other accomplish amazing things.

Riley Ridley was born in Atlanta, so he brings the hometown heart to Atlanta. When you add that to the facts

1. His brother plays for Atlanta

2. He played for the Georgia Bulldogs

3. Every indication is he is as good as Calvin.

4. Matt Ryan can always use weapons

Whatever the Falcons needs are on either side of the lines Drafting Riley Ridley makes the most sense. The potential benefits should out weigh any doubts.

Talent can come from anywhere but opportunities like this are but once in a lifetime!
