Anyone that pretends to be able to lose Matt Ryan and still pull a 2017 Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl has lost all sense of reality, so I won’t be dumb enough to state something along those lines. Additionally, since we have no idea who will start on three fifths of the offensive line, I will say Alex Mack and Jake Matthews are not replaceable.

That said, the first offensive starter that is replaceable is Mohamed Sanu. This should not be taken as a slight to Sanu, he helps make the Atlanta Falcons WR corp the best in the National Football League and losing him would not be fun. However, the depth that Atlanta has at WR makes Sanu replaceable in aspect that someone else in the WR room can step up in his place.

More accurately, Calvin Ridley steps in as the new number two and Justin Hardy, Russell Gage or rookie Marcus Green steps into that third spot.

Another offensive player that can be lost and the Falcons can still make a Super Bowl run is Devonta Freeman. Is he a great player? He is very good not great, but at this point, the Falcons have had to learn to play without him and that should be the mindset coming in to 2019. No one wants to admit that Free is one more concussion away from having to retire.

Falcons have done an excellent job of adding to the running back stable with Ito Smith, Kenjon Barner, Brian Hill, Qadree Ollison, even James Brooks-Tony turned some heads in rookie mini-camp. No Devonta Freeman in 2019 will not keep Atlanta from winning a Super Bowl.
