Currently, Julio Jones, Jeff Van Note and Hall of Fame defensive end Claude Humphrey’s are all tied for the Falcons franchise record in career Pro Bowl selections with six apiece.

In addition to six selections each, both Jones and Humphrey had a run of five straight selections. Humphrey’s from 1970-1974 and Julio has a current streak that started in 2014. Should Julio be a Pro Bowl selection in 2019, he would set the Falcons record for both career selections as well as consecutive Pro Bowl selections.

When looking across the NFL landscape, it is not difficult to imagine the league’s best wide receiver being selected for another Pro Bowl should the offense live up to their expectations in 2019.

During Julio’s active Pro Bowl selection streak, he has averaged 1,599 yards through the air and has led the league twice in receiving yards; 2015 and 2018. Julio’s per game average during this streak has been an insane 103.76 yards through the air.

Julio has been a big part of the success that the Falcons have had over the last several years and the expectations are that new offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter will make Julio an even bigger piece of the offense and try game plan around him even more. Should that happen, Julio will break another record as well.
