There is no doubt that Julio is on his way to being one of the two most prolific players in Atlanta Falcons franchise history. The lone downside to Julio’s game is his issue with dropping passes, including wide open touchdown passes. Sadly, Julio has been in the league’s top 10 of dropped passes for five of his eight seasons with the Falcons.

However, he is so special and prolific that he has overcome those drops to put up ridiculous numbers year after year. When looking at the top five most receiving yard seasons in Falcons history, Julio has two of the top three and three of the top five; Roddy White’s 1,389 in 2010 and Terrance Mathis’ 1,342 in 1994 round out the top five receiving yard seasons in Falcons history.

The franchise record though is Julio’s 1,871 yards in 2015. Julio is coming off a season that saw him record 1,677 yards on 113 catches. The mind-blowing aspect of that, is there were four games that saw Julio record less than 70 yards and six games where he recorded less than 100.

Given the second nature type of relationship that Matt and Julio have developed, the focus on the offensive line and adding an offensive coordinator that understands how to game plan for an NFL defense, Julio has a great chance of breaking 2000 yards for the first time in his career.
