With the Atlanta Falcons kicking off the 2019 NFL season in a mere four days from Minnesota, we now know who the broadcast team for Fox will be.
For the 2019 NFL season, Fox will have six main broadcasting teams:
"Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Erin Andrews, and Kristina Pink"
"Kevin Burkhardt, Charles Davis, and Pam Oliver"
"Kenny Albert, Rondé Barber, and various reporters"
"Thom Brennaman, Chris Spielman, and Shannon Spake"
"Chris Myers, Daryl Johnston and Laura Okmin"
"Dick Stockton, Mark Schlereth, and Jennifer Hale"
The Vikings and the Falcons will have the fourth Fox team of Thom Brennaman, Chris Spielman, and Shannon Spake this Sunday in Minnesota. While there may be some that have an issue with the broadcast team, Thom Brennaman and Chris Spielman do a fantastic job and are better than the other three teams that Fox has ahead of them.
If TV is not an option for you on Sunday, you can always catch the game on the Atlanta Falcons flagship in Atlanta on 92.9 The Game or any of their other affiliate stations around the southeast listed here.
Wes Durham and Dave Archer are hands down the best radio broadcast team in the NFL. The radio broadcast will be a bit different this year as the Falcons have opted to go without a sideline reporter as they decided not to bring John Michaels back for his ninth year.
The Falcons are not considered “must see TV” in 2019, so we will probably get stuck with D-List announcers for most of the season. Let’s hope the networks have no option but to flex the Falcons into primetime in the latter part of the season.
