5 bold predictions for the Atlanta Falcons this season

FALCONS SWEEP THE NFC SOUTH
There are three teams in the NFC South who have a chance to win the division (Sorry Bucs fans, not this year and not for a while). The Saints and the Panthers always field talented teams year in and year out. The Falcons flamed out last year due to injuries and stumbled to a 7-9 record. The same thing won’t happen this year.
I fully expect for the Atlanta Falcons to go on a revenge tour of sorts and put the NFC South and the NFL on notice. We already know how loaded they are on offense and the defense, when healthy, is full of hell raisers.
From a talent standpoint in the division, only the New Orleans Saints should be able to give us our toughest competition but it simply won’t be enough. I don’t expect Drew Brees to put up the same numbers he did last year especially since he didn’t play too well towards the end of the season. It seems like Cam Newton can’t stay healthy long enough to give the Panthers a chance and the Bucs are a mess altogether.
This is the season the Falcons put it all together and show how dangerous these Dirty Birds can be.
