There are some that are going to point to the fact that the defensive line only had three combined sacks last night against the Eagles as a way to shame Vic Beasley, Takk McKinley, Grady Jarrett, Allen Bailey, Tyeler Davison, Adrian Clayborn, Jack Crawford and anyone else that lines up for the Falcons, but they had THREE SACKS against one of the best offensive lines in football.

Not only did they get to Carson Wentz three times last night, the defensive line also combined for nine quarterback hits and four tackles for loss. Takk McKinley was the best player on the field for most of the night even if the stats only show he had one tackle for loss and two quarterback hits.

The pressure applied by the defensive line last night forced Eagles quarterback into two interceptions, a bunch of terrible throws, and a couple miracle plays had to be made as well.

Even rookie John Cominsky did a great job when his number was called and you can see his development taking place right before our very eyes.

If the Atlanta Falcons defensive line can play at this level every week, they will be the catalyst to the Falcons defense making the jump from bottom 10 to top 10 in 2019.
