The 2019 Atlanta Falcons are embarrassing to watch

After yet another disappointing performance from the Atlanta Falcons, one thing is for certain, it is officially time for a change.

The Atlanta Falcons were once again unprepared. Dan Quinn was once again out coached. The Tennessee Titans came in with gameplay and executed with little to no resistance from the Atlanta Falcons.

On defense, it was the same old same old. Can’t stop the run even with the Titans missing some of their offensive linemen. The team can’t get any pressure on the opposing quarterback and too often there is a receiver running down the middle of the field wide open.

It is getting ridiculous at this point that a team with this much talent can’t get anything going. Enough with the “we want to play fast and physical”. There is no physicality with this team. Devonta Freeman and Ito Smith are consistently getting tackled at or behind the line of scrimmage and Matt Ryan has to throw the ball 50 times a game.

This season was supposed to be a rebound year for a team that was plagued with injuries last season. Instead, the Atlanta Falcons look like one of the worst teams in the league, currently sitting at 1-3 and dead last in the NFC South.

With the disappointing play thus far, I don’t think it is crazy to say that it is officially time to move on from Dan Quinn. This team is too talented to be playing this poorly on a consistent basis. There were some great times with Quinn.

2016 and 2017 were fun seasons that will always be remembered as some of the best Atlanta Falcons teams in the history of the franchise. Both of those seasons ended in heartbreak, but that doesn’t take away what the team was able to accomplish both years.

Since then, it seems like Quinn has lost the team. Everyone in the city of Atlanta is tired of hearing the same phrases and excuses spouted out and it honestly seems like the team is as well. The guys aren’t responding anymore and it shows on the field. The season is already on the brink of being over for the Atlanta Falcons if changes aren’t made now.

Next. It’s time to blame the Atlanta Falcons coaching staff. dark

As a late-great professional wrestler, Owen Hart used to say, “enough is enough and it’s time for a change.”
