College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl
No. 1 LSU vs. No. 4 Oklahoma

  • December 28th, 4:00 pm

Kenneth Murray, Oklahoma, Linebacker  – 6’2 235 pounds

What the experts are saying:

"Executes with an overly patient approach. Has experience of facing high powered offenses that do a great job of switching up the influence of mesh fakes prior to passes. As a result of this, Murray waits until the last possible second before deciding to attack downhill. Make sure to exhaust all options on his keys before tackle attempts. The extra patience helped him become one of the most productive defenders in the country. More of a finesse style type of play that loves to show off his sideline-to-sideline range on plays attacking the perimeter. Being in the Big-12, lots of plays attempted to stretch the defense horizontally. This allowed him to roam freely in an east-west directional path. Fast flowing to the ball and hardly ever beaten to the exterior."

The Atlanta Falcons are going to let DeVondre Campbell walk after the 2019 season ends. Campbell believes he is among the best linebackers in the league and his play in 2019 has deteriorated to the point that he is not worth bringing back at all.

Kenneth Murray would be a great running mate with Deion Jones at a price the Falcons can afford.

Kristian Fulton, LSU, Corner – 6’0 200 pounds

What the experts are saying:

"Well-built man cover corner with elite traits. Smart and measured footwork at the line of scrimmage in press coverage: works the step-kick technique with inside leverage with detailed lower body mechanics, staying grounded able to redirect at an instant’s notice. Will utilize hands decently through the contact window when working vertical stems off the red line. Has blue-chip hip mobility to flip hips and speed-turn when challenged by release moves at the line of scrimmage. Ankle flexibility also allows for play at significant angles when in recovery phase. Explosive when closing from off coverage and comfortable reading routes stems to work to advantageous leverage positions. Again, smart with his feet, rarely false stepping or over-committing. Attacks the catch point on targets and has multiple impressive plays on the football that require physicality, anticipation, and athleticism. Has everything you’d expect of a potential first round corner."

The Atlanta Falcons are surely going to release or trade Desmond Trufant at some point in the coming months. As cash strapped as the Falcons are, they will need to make room for Austin Hooper and add an impact player to the secondary.

Fulton is among the best corners in the draft and will be available when the Falcons first-round pick is on the clock.
