Bowl games the Atlanta Falcons will be watching intently and you should too
Outback Bowl – Minnesota vs. Auburn
- January 1st, 1:00 pm
Derrick Brown, Auburn, DT – 6’5 320 pounds
What the experts are saying:
"He’s got a really powerful club move and his upper body power has knocked around offensive linemen in pass protection with impressive results. His leg drive to run feet when he’s locked up and looking to collapse the pocket provides impressive lower body strength and push to roll back blockers. Shows awareness to extend his hands and reach out away from his frame to sustain separation and give himself ample opportunity to identify a shed opportunity. Motor runs hot and compliments his twitchy first step quite well."
If Derrick Brown falls to the Atlanta Falcons, he will be the pick. Pairing Brown with Pro-Bowl defensive tackle Grady Jarrett would form the best young interior defensive line in the league. Brown could be the most powerful and explosive defensive tackle in the draft and would be a great addition to the Falcons defense.
There are obviously a lot of different ways the Atlanta Falcons could go with their 2020 first-round draft pick. With needs everywhere, especially on defense, the Falcons brass will have a lot of high-level options to choose from.
